Visa Atlas is an independent publication. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any government, agency or employer named on the site. Agency names are used only to identify the source of data.
Data and licences
The data comes from official open sources under the licences listed on the sources page. Where a licence asks for attribution, the attribution is shown beside the data and on that page. Our own compilations, calculations and texts may be reused with a link to the page they come from.
Accuracy and liability
We take figures from official sources, check them against the published totals and show the date they relate to. Even so, sources can contain errors and can be revised. The site is provided for information only and is not legal advice; we accept no liability for decisions taken on the basis of it. Corrections are welcome through the corrections and removals page.
