A person's name

We do not publish personal data from official files. If a person's name appears anywhere on the site, we remove it within 48 hours of being told and improve the filter that should have caught it.

An error we made

If a figure differs from the official source, a record is matched to the wrong employer, or a calculation looks wrong, we check it against the source file and correct it. Corrections are noted on the page.

An error in the official source

We publish official data as it was released. If the source itself is wrong, the publishing agency has to correct it; we can point you to the right agency and add a note to the page until a corrected file is published.
